A third round of “No Kings” protests is coming this spring on March 28th. Organizers say they are planning the largest rally yet across the United States, in opposition to the authoritarianism like actions under Trump. Like Minded Friends has already signed up to host a rally and submitted it's permit request. Check back often for updates!

Tim Goodall, an organizer, said the protesters stand for ICE Out For Good, referencing recent ICE incidents. "We stand for Ice Out For Good. Renee Good, Alex Pretti, or any of the murders that have been happening - we can't stand still for this," he said.

Like Minded Friends meet every Monday at 7PM at First United Methodist Church 7020 Cass St Omaha, NE. through Door # 10, and in the Mead Hall unless announced otherwise. Every other Monday will feature a guest speaker to be announced. We urge you to attend if you can.

We know many in Omaha are facing real challenges when it comes to accessing the basics like food and hygiene items. We invite everyone who attends our meetings, to bring canned goods, non-perishable foods, soap, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, diapers, etc. if possible. Let’s keep building a community where no one is left behind.
